These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SnapSeek's photo-sharing platform and services ("Service"). By accessing or using SnapSeek, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
SnapSeek provides AI-powered photo discovery services for private events. We enable event organizers to upload photo collections and share them privately with guests, who can then use face recognition technology to find photos of themselves.
Account Creation: Only event organizers need to create accounts. Guests can access shared collections without registration.
Account Accuracy: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep this information updated.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.
Account Termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.
Permitted Use: SnapSeek is designed for legitimate event photo sharing. You may upload photos from events you own or have permission to share.
Prohibited Activities:
- Uploading inappropriate, illegal, or copyrighted content without permission
- Using the Service for spam, harassment, or malicious activities
- Attempting to circumvent security measures or access other users' private collections
- Reverse engineering or attempting to extract our AI models or algorithms
- Commercial use without explicit written permission
Content Guidelines: All photos must be appropriate for general audiences and comply with applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.
Credit System: SnapSeek operates on a credit-based system. Each photo upload consumes one (1) credit.
Credit Purchase: Credits must be purchased in advance. Prices are displayed clearly at the time of purchase and include all applicable taxes.
Credit Expiration: Credits do not expire and can be used across multiple events and collections.
Refund Policy: Credits are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for technical issues or service failures within 30 days of purchase.
Free Credits: New accounts receive 100 free credits. These are subject to the same terms as purchased credits.
Private Collections: All photo collections are private by default. Access is granted only through collection-specific links shared by organizers.
Face Recognition: Our AI analyzes uploaded selfies to match faces in photos. This processing happens in real-time and selfie data is not permanently stored.
Data Storage: Photos are securely stored for one (1) year from upload date, after which they are automatically deleted.
Privacy Policy: Our comprehensive Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Your Content: You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload. You grant SnapSeek a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
Our Service: SnapSeek's technology, including our AI models, algorithms, and platform design, are protected by intellectual property laws.
Copyright Compliance: You must have the right to upload and share all photos. We respond to valid DMCA takedown requests.
Service Availability: We strive for high uptime but cannot guarantee 100% availability. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
Technical Limitations:
- Upload limit: 30MB per photo
- Stored originals are normalized to high-quality JPEGs ≤5MB
- Supported formats: JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
- Face recognition accuracy may vary based on photo quality and lighting conditions
Geographic Limitations: The Service may not be available in all countries or regions.
Service "As Is": SnapSeek is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
AI Accuracy: While our face recognition technology is advanced, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photo matching.
Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Data Loss: While we implement robust backup systems, you should maintain your own backups of important photos.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
